How long will it take to set up a my new account? It will take less then 24 hours. In
most cases we will have your account set up in a very short time, but in all cases it will be less
then 24 hours from the time you complete the order form.
When will my new domain be active? Once InterNIC announces
that your domain name has been registered, all internet providers will need to update their records
(DNS Tables) to reflect the website location. This propagation usually takes two to five days.
How do I transfer files to my website? You have 24/7 FTP (File Transfer Protocol) access
to your website. Many ISP's offer FTP Software and you can also find free FTP's on the net. We
recommend WS_FTP client software.
Mac Users: Should use raw data transfer mode when using
Fetch to transfer HTML, or images and use text transfer mode when transferring .txt files. Front
Page users should use Front Page to upload your files inside of the Front Page Directory
Structure.
What file name should I use for my home page? Your Home Page should be named index.htm,
or index.html to have it load automatically.
Will I have unlimited access to update my website? Yes, you will have 24/7 FTP
access to your website.
Do you offer Unlimited Shell Access to the server? No, we do not allow Unlimited
Shell Access. We will assist you if you need a feature that can not be set up with an FTP

account at any time with no additional set up fees.
Will Server Side Includes (SSI) work on my website? Yes, SSI's should work on any page
ending in .sht or .shtml.
How do I set up my POP 3 E-Mail Accounts? Set them up just like you set up your
ISP e-mail, except on your incoming mail server, enter mail.yourdomain.com. Click
here for step by step instructions setting your e-mail accounts up using Outlook Express.
The instructions for setting up e-mail accounts are similar using all mail
clients, so you should be able to use the instructions for other mail clients as well.
How do I add sub and third level domains? You can create a sub directory with the
name of the sub domain you are creating. Name the main page in the sub directory index.html and your sub
domain will be displayed when the name of the sub directory follows your URL. Example: if the
name of the sub directory (Sub Domain) is "SubDomain" and your main page in the sub directory is
named index.html the URL would read http://www.DomainName.com/SubDomain. You may want to
install a filemanager (some are free) if your goal is to limit a users access to a sub directory
and you only have the basic web presence (plan 1). If you want to call up Sub Domains, with the
sub domain name first (http://SubDomain.DomainName.com) and you have our Web Master Plan 3 you
can just send us the information and we will make the needed changes to the server. With the Web
Master Plan 3 we can also set up FTP accounts to limit a users access to the Sub Domains you
are setting up.
